Consumer prices rose by around 5.58 percent year-on-year this May, the second month in a row when there is only single-digit inflation. This is also the lowest inflation rate that the country has had in the last five years, according to a government report last Monday.
Food prices dropped by 4.7 percent this month climbing 16.88 percent in April and 24 percent last March from a year before.
